Made of cotton as soft as a buttercup and the very same color, too, the fabric is textured with little Swiss dots. The fitted bodice is softened with full gathers that are smocked at the yoke and waist, and balanced by the puffed sleeves and gathered skirt. There is a lace ruffle at the collar, a wide waist band, and three rows of tucks on the skirt. A pair of lace- edged pantalets are included.
